This Buyer Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules and responsibilities for individuals or businesses (“Buyers”) who purchase or commission artwork from Funky Frames or affiliated Sellers through our platform. By making a purchase, you agree to comply with this Policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

  • Buyers must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to make a purchase.
  • Buyers must provide accurate and complete contact, payment, and shipping information at checkout.

2. Orders and Commissions

  • All commissioned artwork is created based on the specifications provided by the Buyer during consultation.
  • Once an order is confirmed, Funky Frames and the assigned artist will begin the creative process.
  • Buyers are encouraged to communicate clearly and provide any required references or details promptly to avoid delays.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices are displayed in £(British Pound Sterling) and are subject to change at Funky Frames’ discretion.
  • Full payment, or a required deposit, must be received before work begins.
  • Buyers are responsible for any additional charges such as shipping, customs duties, or taxes where applicable.

4. Delivery and Shipping

  • Delivery times for commissioned artwork may vary depending on complexity. Estimated timelines will be provided before work begins.
  • Finished artwork will be carefully packaged for shipping. Funky Frames is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.
  • Buyers must inspect their delivery upon arrival and report any issues within 7 days.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be requested in writing before work begins. Once the creative process has started, deposits are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are only issued in cases of damaged or undelivered artwork, and subject to review.
  • Commissioned artwork is custom-made and therefore not eligible for return once completed and approved.

6. Revisions

  • Buyers may request revisions within the scope of the agreed commission.
  • Additional revisions or major changes outside the original agreement may incur extra costs.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Artwork remains the property of Funky Frames or the Seller until full payment is received.
  • Buyers may use the purchased artwork for personal display, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Commercial use requires prior written approval and may be subject to additional licensing fees.

8. Prohibited Activities

Buyers must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or resell commissioned artwork without written permission.
  • Harass, abuse, or exploit Funky Frames staff or Sellers.
  • Circumvent Funky Frames by arranging direct transactions with Sellers outside our platform.

9. Disputes

  • In the event of a dispute, Funky Frames will act as a neutral mediator between the Buyer and Seller.
  • Buyers must contact us at info@onefunkyframe.com with full details of the issue.
  • Funky Frames’ decision on disputes is final.

10. Amendments

We may update this Buyer Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
